A message of support and information to members of the Lynn Valley Community

From: Hollyburn Family Services

On behalf of everyone at Hollyburn Family Services, our thoughts and condolences are with the individuals affected by the tragic incident at the Lynn Valley Village on Saturday March 27, 2021.  Lynn Valley Village has been a safe place for families to gather and it is unthinkable that such violence could happen in this close-knit community. As the authorities continue to investigate the details, we want to extend our thoughts to everyone who has been impacted during this very difficult time across the North Shore and Greater Vancouver.

We have heard heroic stories of quick thinking, offering shelter and first aid and support from employees and community members at Lynn Valley Village.  As providers of services to families across the North Shore, we strive to strengthen the North Shore community with continued support.  For those grieving and dealing with the traumatic effects of this horrific incident, we will be offering subsidized counselling to employees & bystanders that witnessed this event at Lynn Valley Village.  Please email email hidden; JavaScript is required for additional information.
