Support for Foster Parents of Indigenous Children
Indigenous Cultural Teachings and Training
These are designed for caregivers to deepen their understanding of the legacy of colonization and its continuing impacts, as well as increasing cultural capacity and building community.
Caregivers Support Circle
This monthly event is a great opportunity for caregivers to come together, share experiences, and receive support from one another. Hosted by West Coast Family Service’s Indigenous Education Coordinator Aaron Rivard to facilitate a safe space to share perspectives, stories, and learn together. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and for resources from other caregivers as well. Please remember that this is a confidential space for each other to share and listen without judgement.
Join us for an evening of conversation, camaraderie, and community. We look forward to seeing you there! It is absolutely okay to have dinner on call with us, your nourishment is a priority and important to us.
