Community Partners Referral Form
The Eating Disorders Program offers compassionate counselling services tailored for children and youth 6-18 years affected by disordered eating. Providing office-based appointments for children, youth and families in the Nanaimo/Ladysmith area.
Using a supportive, strengths-based approach, we collaborate with children, youth, families, and service providers to promote lasting well-being.

This is a Free and Confidential Service offered with funding from the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
EDP is accessed through self-referral, or formal referral agents such as the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH), School District 68 and other community service providers.
EDP provides screening, assessment, transition planning, referral planning, coordination and case consultation as appropriate for referred children and youth. EDP offers education and support to parents/caregivers and works collaboratively with the Central Island Child and Youth Eating Disorders Program through Island Health.
