Expanding Our Impact: Welcoming NARSF Programs to Hollyburn Family Services 

Hollyburn Family Services (Hollyburn) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Nanaimo and Area Resource Services for Families Programs (NARSF Programs), a highly respected community organization that has provided support to individuals, youth, and families in the Nanaimo region for over 30 years.  

Founded by Gordon Coté in 1991, NARSF Programs has built a strong legacy of service excellence through a wide range of supports, including counselling, parent education, outreach, and harm reduction services. As we welcome NARSF Programs to the Hollyburn family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gordon and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement. 

As of April 1, 2025, Hollyburn has assumed operational responsibility for all NARSF Programs. This integration reflects our shared commitment to delivering high-quality, community-based services and presents new opportunities to enhance and expand our impact across Vancouver Island. 

We are dedicated to ensuring seamless continuity of care for NARSF Programs clients and maintaining the trusted relationships they have built over decades. In time, we look forward to strengthening and growing their programming, increasing access to services, and deepening our collective impact in the region.
