Community Inclusion and Day Programs

Community Inclusion program

With a referral from a Community Living BC facilitator, our Community Inclusion program assists adults with developmental disabilities who are eligible for CLBC supports to join community-based group activities or one-on-one life skill-based activities. In conjunction with a Community Living BC facilitator, each program is individually driven by goals set by our clients and families.

Our Community Inclusion workers are available throughout Metro Vancouver from Langley to the North Shore.

There are four types of community inclusion support:

  • Employment – support to find and keep a job
  • Skill Development – support to build independence
  • Community-based – support to participate in community activities outside the home
  • Home-based – support to take part in social activities in the home

Visit the Community Living BC website to find out more information for eligibility and how to contact a facilitator.

Day program:

Our day program is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. The program offers life and social skill training, cooking skills, money management training, interpersonal skills training, public transportation and community safety skills and others. The program runs year-round, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm and is based in Surrey.
