Dignity and Respect Program (DRP)

The Dignity and Respect Program (DRP) is part of a safer family and community in response to intimate partner violence.  DRP focuses on building skills to promote safety and create positive changes in relationships with partners, co-parents, and/or family members.  The DRP program provides individual counselling and group programming.

Program Features

  • This program focuses on skills that support people to have safe and meaningful relationships
  • Works from the premise that all people can control and take responsibility for their actions
  • Offering individual counselling sessions and an 8-week group
  • No cost. DRP is funded by the Ministry for Children and Family Development (MCFD)

Our Staff

Staff members are professionally trained therapists with graduate degrees in social work or counselling psychology. DRP is staffed 40 hours a week by two therapists who provide intake, support, and planning for safety and accountability.

Clinicians participate in regular supervision.
