
Dr. Hayley Neimy, Ph.D, BCBA-D
Dr. Hayley Neimy, Ph.D, BCBA-D provides Behaviour Consultation services for Hollyburn Family Services. Dr. Neimy received her B.A. in Psychology from UBC in 2011 and simultaneously worked as both a Behavior Technician on home-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) teams serving young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and a Special Education Assistant for the West Vancouver School District.
She then relocated to Los Angeles, CA, to gain extensive clinical and research experience in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior at the Shabani Institute, Center for Behavior Analysis, where she worked as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, to now the Executive Clinical Director almost a decade later. During this time, Dr. Neimy completed her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (Honors) from California State University, Northridge in 2015, and her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Endicott College in 2020, receiving her BCBA in 2015, and BCBA-D in 2020.
Dr. Neimy is a published researcher and has presented her clinical work regionally, nationally, and internationally at conferences, in her areas of expertise, which include: early interventions for infants at risk of ASD, functional analyses and function-based interventions in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, social skills interventions, early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI), verbal behavior, functional communication training (FCT) & AAC, and systematic parent and staff-training models. Dr. Neimy is also an Adjunct Professor for the online Masters of ABA programs at Endicott College and Pepperdine University, and is now also an Instructor for Capilano University’s ABA department.
