Online Parent Workshop
Online Parent Workshop presented by Chantal Bourke, RCC, Family Counsellor
October 7th and 8th – 5:30 to 8:30pm
October 14th and 15th – 5:30 to 8:30pm
Does your child suffer from anxiety, depression, substance use problems, an eating disorder, or other mental health concerns?
Do you struggle with your child’s behaviour, with setting limits or responding to their emotions?
Inspired by Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) – and a dose of humour, this evidence-based workshop will introduce practical skills to:
- strengthen parent-child/teen relationships
- increase cooperation
- improve your responses to strong emotional reactions from your child, including expressions of worry, anger, hopelessness and even silence.
Parents and caregivers are supported to identify and work through co-parenting challenges most often encountered along the way.
This free online training workshop, provided by Hollyburn Family Services, consists of 4 sessions x 3 hours each. Participants must commit to all 4 classes.
